The pact of the last king of Fanes with the eagle
The people of the Fanes was living in peace and benefited from the alliance with the marmots. One day the king went hunting and was able to catch a small eagle, but then there stormed a giant eagle with golden claws from heaven. "Give me back my son," said the eagle, "and I will make of you the richest and most powerful king." The king accepted the offer of the eagle, in real the eagle was a king of a faraway kingdom, he suggested another pact of pretending that in the event that one of the kings got twins he should hand one of them to the other king as a sign of the alliance.
